Records Management Journal (RMJ) provides research and contemporary practice on the people, process and systems/technology aspects of managing records and information in organizations. This spans records/information creation and capture, organization and access, preservation and disposal, systems design, information governance and risk.

RMJ is unique in that it is the only international journal devoted to records management which is not exclusive to a professional society or association. Contributions from different, interdisciplinary perspectives are encouraged in the form of research papers, case studies and viewpoints.

A subscription to the journal includes print and online access, and enables the reader to:

  • Identify best practice, track key initiatives worldwide.
  • Access discussions about the use and impact of new technologies and methods.
  • Compare ideas and experiences with your peers worldwide.
  • Access international case studies.

The Records Management Journal’s contribution to the records management profession is invaluable.  Its consistently high quality, peer reviewed articles remain at the cutting edge of professional thinking.  They go further to stimulate new thought internationally through their cross cutting nature. Taken together, they build bridges across the boundaries of countries and continents; scholarship and practice; and insights and experience drawn from public, private and academic institutions.”

Dr Anne Thurston, Director, International Records Management Trust, UK
